5.7 Case Sensitivity issue resolution

I notice that the migration tool for 5.5/5.6 doesn't work with 5.7. I have this issue currently and wondered if there is any alternative to starting over?
Unfortunately not. There is no upgrade from 5.6 to 5.7.
Delightful. 2 weeks down the drain. Just had a message from @Mainio confirming this as well.
Just a comment on this, the add-on is fully open source and the code is available on GitHub:

If there is anyone willing to take the challenge on converting this to 5.7, we'd happily accept pull requests for it. Unfortunately we do not have the time to do that ourselves currently.
I can assure that converting this add-on into 5.7 is less than 2 weeks of work. I'd say it's closer to 1-2 days. Developer docs should arrive this week as Andrew has posted that in the forums.
