A question involving Dream Weaver...

...and I'm sorry if this is a stupid question, it's been a while since I've done any site building, and I really only did basic stuff with Dream Weaver. Anyway.

I already created a site though Dream Weaver, but now, after graduating from school, I no longer have access to Dream Weaver. I am hoping that concrete 5 can become a kind of replacement in the sense that it can help me easily build a site and I'll always have access to it. However, whenever I go to log in to my site through concrete 5, it just takes me to the site I already created, with no way to edit it. Is there any way for me to "edit over" my site, or am I stuck with it? And if there is something else I should be using other than concrete 5, do anyone have any suggestions?

*My site is hosted by Host Monster, but I downloaded concrete 5 though them.

Thanks!

You have to use some sort of text editor to create a template for your website. Once you have created that template, you put it into Concrete5 then you can edit the content of the site.

If you are comfortable with a program like Dreamweaver, you might try Kompozer or Nvu, which are free alternatives.

There are lots of tutorials on the Concrete5 site about making your html template (created with one of those programs) ready for use with Concrete5.

Hope that helps
