A couple of quick questions from a newbie

Hi,

I'm creating my first site using c5 for an end user and am quickly falling in love with it, but I do have a couple of questions that I'm hoping someone out there can help me with.

1.
How do I prevent the end user from editing certain areas of the site? For example I don't want to allow a user to edit the existing navigation bar. Is there a way to 'lock' a block?

2.
Is there a way to limit the types of content blocks that the user can add? Perhaps I don't want them to be able to add an autonav block for instance.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Tony.

Thanks for your reply katz515.

I've looked at the page you gave a link to, but none of those features listed really match what I want to achieve.

Is there a list somewhere showing all the advanced permission options available to be used in the config file?

Thanks again,
Tony.

I think we have to make a help page explaining how to use Advanced Permission.

It's not fault of you guys...

But I'm getting bugged about many people keep asking about advanced permission.

It's all because we don't have a help page about advanced permission.
