Abstract Data Types

My 2nd post here, another question...
Does Concrete5 support abstract data types natively? I've looked into the attributes at various levels, but I am not sure this will fit my needs.
For example, if I want to make a hierarchy of locations and at the bottom level at each location I want to make a different set of objects with their own properties that can include any rich content. Umbraco does this, for example.
On the database end this is easy to implement, but I want to know if there is a built-in tool to do this natively within Concrete5 without having to do everything from scratch.
Thanks for any replies.
