When you delete a page through the frontend delete button (compared to using the command line or something more invisible), they usually go to the trash...did you look there? Dashboard --> Full Site Map --> Click "options" in top right, select show system pages --> !trash folder
Otherwise that page is just a normal page... you can create a page called search, and a page under that called search-results with the search blocks added to them and that is essentially recreating the page.
