Add Access Entity - Nothing happens

Hi All,

I hope you guys can help me out or point me in the direction of the correct discussion.

When I want to edit the permissions of a page via the sitemap or via page settings on the page itself, I end up with the error message "You must choose who this permission is for.".

I get this when trying to add a Group, User, Group Set, Group Combination or Page Owner on the "Add Access Entity" window. When selecting something from the list the page auto redirects to the previous window (Add Access Entity) but it still says "None Selected". If I then click save on this "Add Access Entity" window, I get the error message above.

Any option under the list "Current Permission Set" for each page results in the above.

I have added some screenshots and numbered them.

Thanks very much for any help

When developing a site you would be wise to turn off all caches and empty the cache, try this and have another go.

Hi Thanks but every cache is currently turned off. This problem happens on our live and staging environments and our local environments.

I've double and triple checked our live, staging and local environments. We typically don't have caching turned on locally. Staging, I turned caches off and tried again and still get the same result.

It must have worked in the past because we seemed to have successfully used this feature as there are some entries.

Have you checked your browser console for errors?

Absolutely nothing appears in the console. My network tab looks fine too...no missing files. It's almost as if clicking on a user or a use group does nothing.

I have created fair few custom blocks and plugins for our site but I am finding it difficult to understand how these could be affecting this.
