Add an image on state to the amiant image gallery

Hi,
I was wondering if there is a way to add an "image on state" in the thumbnail mode, like the one of the default image block.
Maybe it's possible to create an attribute for each image in order to do the trick ? I'm a total noob so if soemone can help me it would be very kind.
