Add banner image to top level blog index page?
I'm using Dark Chocolate Theme and would like to add a banner image to the top level blog index page. Possible? How?
That is exactly how I assumed it should work. However, when I select "Edit" one of two things happen:
1. The page doesn't go into edit mode, ,or
2. It goes into edit mode and I see the editable areas, but they aren't clickable. And the Header editable area is overlaid by the navbar header.
Is what you siad supposed to work for the BLOG INDEX page? I know the Blog post pages do work as you describe. Perhaps my blog index page is corrupt? Should I delete it and recreate it? If I do that, will be blog posts still show up under the blog index?
Thx, Jerry

It should work for any page.
Try clearing the cache and have another go.
If that doesn't work; send me some login details and I can try to have a quick look for you. If you don't feel comfortable sending me your login details; you can create a new user and delete that user account afterwards.

Sorry for the delay. It iswww.www.takeonesolutions.com/blog....
But what size should my image be? I do not know where to find the width of the space it will accommodate.
just select an image and set the width to something like 800 to start. Save it and see how it looks. go back and make width adjustments until you get it just right!!
1. Select 'Edit' to put the page into edit mode.
2. Click on 'Add To Header' (or whichever area you would like your banner to be.)
3. Select 'Add Block' (You'll be presented with a list of options)
4. Select 'Image' from the list
