Add-ons message of the day and media library

I'm going to be purchasing some add-ons for my client and would like to know the major differences between randomizer and message of the day.
Can message of the day also be used with images like randomizer?

Also, what are the differences between media library and purchasing flash video and flash audio separately?
Can media library do everything that flash video and flash audio does plus creating file sets.

nope message of the day cannot have images, i suggest randomizer

message of the days are within content block in a seperate scrapbook. As you can add images to content block, it could work with images too, haven't tested that so far.
