Add Page vs. Edit Page

Hey, all.

The site I'm working on - kind of a document repository/wiki, but with more control over the content - has 3 main pages, each devoted to a category of documents. Each page has a directory of the documents that fall into that category, and each of those documents in that directory are sub-pages under the main page.

I've given my users the ability to go to a main category page and then click on a document within the directory to open it (and subsequently edit it) - pretty basic stuff, obviously. I also want to give them the option of adding a page from the main category page, and having that new page become a sub-page under the category page as well. That seems feasible, too. But I want to give them this ability without giving them the ability to edit the main category page. Is there a way to let them see the "Add Page" button at the top left of the screen without allowing them to see the "Edit Page" button?

Thanks.

Actually, after a bit of sleuthing in the forums and feeling like an idiot, I've got it sorted.

From the main category page, I had to go into the "sub-page" settings, and allow users to add a sub-page of the specific template I've designed. Now users can see an Add Page button, but not an Edit Page button.
