Add Top Level Pages But Don't Show In Menu

Can this be done?
Add new pages but NOT have them showing in the navigation?
Appreciate your help.

Yes.

In sitemap add a page and click the new page, then click 'Attributes', then click 'Exclude From Nav', then scroll down click the checkbox and save.
