Adding a Blog Entry Creates a Menu Item

When I add a type "blog_entry" page it creates a menu item with the name of the blog entry. I do not wish to show every blog entry in my menu so how could I turn that off? Thanks!

I found the issue. In Dashboard -> Pages & Themes -> Page Types -> Blog Entry -> Settings, I had ticket the box for Default Attributes -> Exclude From Nav. Despite this when I create a new blog_entry page the "Exclude From Nav" setting is not enable automatically. Thus the solution is to manually tick the box every time I create a blog entry.

Could this be a bug?

DIR_REL is still available to use, which is why I thought that would be the problem. It could be that the image block is customized to have image paths include that subfolder. Only things that come to mind. Of course it could be the host like you said.
