Adding a page problem
Permalink
Hi,
I hope someone can help as I'm new to concrete5. I have built my own custom theme in Dreamweaver and have added a menu which I have styled with CSS. The menu contains 7 links, each pointing to a page with a flash header image, a main text area and another block for a graphic as well as the header nav block.
When I add another page it does appear in the nav bar but it's completely empty. I even have to copy and past the Header Nav block and paste it from the scrapbook as the new pages nav block is unstyled. I then have to manually copy and paste each element that will appear on that page.
Am I doing this wrong? Is there a way to add a page using an existing one as a template that the new page would be based on? I'm simply clicking on the link I want the new page to be next to and pressing Add Page. The new page appears in the Sitemap where I can move it into the place I want.
This seems too clumsy for such an otherwise superbly elegant system. I must be wrong surely? Any help most appreciated. Thanks.
