adding a page problem

suddenly getting this...

It looks like you're not selecting a parent page to publish your new page under. Or the page this page type is set to publish under got deleted.

After the crashing when I tried to add a page, C5 is now asking me to register when I try to login to the admin area.
Now I remember why I stopped using C5 haha

Are you sure it's asking you to register and not just update your profile?
Without screenshots it's hard to say what's happening but I would guess you either added some User Attributes are required and it's asking you to update those attributes for the admin user.
Or the register page was the last page you visited (edited?), because you get redirected to the last page you accessed when you click the "Return to Website" button.
Otherwise it could be that your host uses cloudflare/varnish and you're getting adverse side-effects from that.
