Adding additional file types

I am new to concrete 5 and am impressed with all that it offers but I cannot find out where I can allow additional file types to be uploaded (i.e., pdf, doc, zip).
Does anyone know how this can be done?

Also,
When I go Page Types and add a new page, I don't know how to add attributes.
Example: Blog Entry has attributes to add jpeg and thumbnail etc, but when I add a new page I am not given that option. This is actually where I would like to be able to upload pdfs, zip files and such.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

To add new file types to be allowed: in the dashboard go to "System and settings", and under "permissions and access", you should see "Allowed File Types". You can edit the list there.

To edit page attributes: mouse-over the "Edit" button (on the front-end toolbar at the top). Select the "Properties" option. In the popup dialog, select "Custom Attributes" tab. You should see a list of available attributes that you can add and then edit.

You could also do this through the Site Map in the dashboard. In that case, select a page, and select "properties" from the options tooltip.

I hope this helps a bit?
