Adding Content Block to Stack

I get a huge amount of space between my image and the text placed below it. Wondering how to fix it?
If it is a CSS or PHP thing can I get a screen shot.
Also can I just build a scene in my crappy old Dreamweaver MX 2004 :O
and paste it into the HTML Block for the Stack?
I'm not a developer but I have been at W3 School peaking at some of the CSS stuff. That brings up another question, does LESS take the place of CSS or something???
