I dive in to Concrete5 at first I was happy but after a while I saw I few things that were not working as aspected.

I have the Creative theme, which I think have a few bugs, the imageslider: the overlay part is not show correct with IE (one big gray block on the left)

Second if I want to watch the site on my mobile then the user has to click exactly on the little down arrow if not then a blank page is shown.

So I found the vertical bigmenu which I want to use in the Creative theme then the first question is does it work in the Creative theme.

But then again I see they do not support login as solution they say use the free login addin that sounds nice but that does not support the latest Concrete5

For the slider I want to buy the killerwhale soft if that works with the Creative Theme

I do not know what the normal time is to get an answer from the guys who build the themes and addons but my experience is not so good

If you've bought a theme (I guess this one -https://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/themes/creative-template/)... and have issues, the developer has to answer you. Support depends on the developer of course, one responds within the day, the other within a week.

If you want to know if that slider you're asking for is compatible with any theme or not, you should ask that developer. If he doesn't respond, it's probably not the add-on you should be using.

I see I have to read better megamenu vertical is for version 5.6

So then the question is does the horizontal menu works with the Creative theme, I can set the templete design to empty then there is only the homepage the bottom menu is also gone

If I do this setting then I think I can use the megamenu horizontal (I think)

but I cannot try it

Hello,

I can understand your frustration, trying to get answers and getting... crickets

There is, however, one aspect of this situation to take into account. From what I can understand, you are asking developers to tell you if other people's products are going to work with their product.

That would be difficult for anybody to answer.

First, they might have to buy that product in order to test it and they might, understandably, be reluctant to do so.

Second testing every other product there is any time someone asks would require a lot of time which they might not have.

Normally this is what's expected to happen:
1- All products should work reasonably well with others for Concrete5 and if they don't, the products have a problem and need fixing
2- In that situation, if you bought something that is not working as advertised, the developer MUST provide support and fix it
3- If not, you are entitled to a full refund

I was more meaning to tell, if the Add-On requires something specific (let's say Bootstrap or Foundation), and that's not in someon's theme, the developer can obviously tell it works or if it doesn't. You can name a couple more requirements, like jQuery (but that's shipped with concrete5) etc. Of course it's difficult to answer, but a plugin should (in 99% of the cases) work.

I think the addin slider shall work cause I can put other sliders also on the pages, I see a theme of c5box the Framework, I think the maker(s) of that theme can say if the MegaMenu can work with that theme, two days last week and this week is lost (I have time enough) but making pages that are not working on another theme is a waist of time

So I hope the C5Box an MegaMenu read this and give there opinion

Here I read at MegaMenu the following thing

This Mega Menu is based on the core Concrete5 "Autonav" block so it uses your existing website structure, but with a number of additional features.

So it looks like if I delete the autonav block I can select the megamenu block (but I do not know if it shows on top)
