"Update add-ons" not updating

Permalink 1 user found helpful
Hi,

I am hosting Concrete5 at Concrete5. I am using the latest version of the software.

I have bought two add-ons from the market place ("Testimonials" and "Blog"), when I check at the dashboard for updates it indicates that there are available.

When I press the button for updating and I get a message saying that they have been updated but when I check the versions of both add-ons it is still the old one and I still have the updates "available".

Some help would beappreciated.

Regards,

José Antonio

i believe the developers did not update their controller files with the new version numbers

I believe Mnkras is right - the version numbers for the blog and testimonials apps in their actual controller.php files don't match what the developers have specified as the current version. I will send the developers a message.

they match now.

Let me know if you have any other issues, and I am sorry that you had to experience any issues at all.

A RC1 creeped in there somehow.

I have this same problem with the paid-for Quick Links block and the free Tweetcrete.

Any suggestions for these blocks?

Contact the Author and tell them to fix the version numbers your addons are updated, its the addon developers fault.

Agreed. I botched this with 1.4.1 and fixed it with 1.4.1.1... However, 1.6 hit the market today and its version is correct, so you should move right along to the newest version.

All 3 give error message "1"

Any help would be appreciated :)
