Anyone integrated/imported a Blogger blog?
Got a friend with an existing website that I'm thinking of porting into C5 to allow them to manage it. The site was built using Rapidweaver... and they are blogging using Blogger.com. There's a Rapidweaver plugin called RapidBlog, that uses PHP coding to dynamically, on-the-fly, extract the content of the Blogger.com blog and re-skin it with the theme of the Rapidweaver site.
So... if I move this site into C5, I'll either need to grab the PHP code that is doing this nifty work... find a Concrete5 Add-On that will replicate the RapidBlog functionality... or maybe import the Blogger.com blog into some C5 blogging system and migrate my friend from using Blogger.com.
Thoughts? Or, better yet, answers? ;)
Thanks!
- John
P.S... I DO know that another alternative is to leave the blog on Blogger.com and to re-skin it so it matches the site... but they like sending people to their branded domain instead of to their Blogger.com site, so I'd like to avoid that option.

Anyone else out there have any experiences/thoughts on the topic? ;D
Hey, I'm looking for a good way to do this as well. This is the only discussion I found about this topic. So I have a blogger site: http://absolutecoaster.blogspot.com... and I recently launched my concrete5 site.
I was able to use feedburner with my blogger site, take the RSS feed, and plug it into the default RSS plugin that comes with Concrete5. I'm very glad that it takes the links from my blog, but it just spits out text, with direct links to my blogspot page. See for yourself:
http://absolutecoaster.com/index.php/blog/...
I'm kind of looking for a more rich text option that has the embedded videos and photos. However, I looked at my blogspot site, and they do have the option to re-direct the URL from our main site to the blog spot page, but it can negatively affect the comments, and it also would force me to re-skin my blogspot blog.
Maybe there's a way to embed the HTML from blog spot into my concrete 5 site? Any ideas anyone???? And sorry, i'm not really giving any new answers, just some more insight.

I made this addon:http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/rss-importer/... which allows you to import a blog from an rss feed- so assuming you can get a feed its very possible. The addon isnt free, but its compatible with all the available c5 blogs (including the built in one), so you should be set. It would be easier to migrate to the c5 blogging tool after using this tool, but its still possible to continually use the rss importer. Pm me if you want more info on the addon.
