Are these instructions outdated (somewhat):
http://www.concrete5.org/documentation/how-tos/editors/reconnect-to...
Are they outdated in regard to Concrete5 settings? Post is from 2011, I'm assuming that the dashboard's layout have changed somewhat since then?
I'm specifically referring to:
"First you need to disable your cache. From your site's dashboard pick "Sitewide Settings" and go to "Speed Settings" and move "Basic Cache" to "disabled" and click the "Update Cache" button."
Does the above translates currently to:
DASHBOARD>
SYSTEM & SETTINGS>
OPTIMIZATION>
CACHE & SPEED SETTINGS>
BLOCK CACHE>
* Off - Good for development of custom blocks.
OVERRIDES CACHE>
* Off - Good for development
CLEAR CACHE>
Clear cache
???
and then I go to cPanel on my hosts site to continue with the rest of the instructions?
Am I correct or totally off on that?
Otherwise I can't find anything regarding cache on cPanel
btw my current C5 install is 5.6.1.1

They still close enough to be relevant. Maybe they have been updated since first posted.
The easy way to do anything in the dashboard is just to type it into the instant search box. In your case, 'Cache' and see what ideas it gives you. (That does depend on knowing enough to have some idea what to search for.)

The tip about search box worked great for the next step. Thx!
Yes, those are press much the same method for the newer version. I'm unsure what you are doing, but that method should be fine.
