Area level block permissions

Hi,
I would like to exclude most of the default blocks for my client. I have advanced permissions turned on. In added a group called webmasters. I went to the sitemap and added the group in the root. I set it to manual. Turned on all permission except admin (also tried it with that on) Then went to page defaults, clicked on the 'add to..' part to change area permissions. Added the webmaster group, allowed for read, write and delete and turned only the checkboxes on for the blockes i'de like the client to be possible to add.
Then i logged in as a user who is (only) part of the webmasters group. When this user tries to add a block he sees all the default blockes! Not the one or two i allowed. And no mather what i try this stays the same.
I really would appreciate it of someone could help to solve this.

Have a look at the permissions on the page types as well.
It's really impossible. I tried every possible combination. Tried to reset everyting. New groups and user. Almost nothing. I manged to do it on one particular page. But it did not work on other pages with the same settings (in page defaults and sitemap)

I'm trying to hack the database by setting btIsInternal in the blocktypes table. If i set this to 1 the blocks i don't wont disappear. But i'm not sure if there will be unwanted side effects...
I got the same issue, looks like a bug to me...
