Argh! Which blog addon?
I thought there was just one paid for blog addon - but there is 3 and I can't work out which is the best to go with.
I want a pretty stock standard simple blog - I have two blog sections on my site each with about 5 categories each.
I was leaning to the "simple blog" but was concerned about some posts of problems other users were having not being answered.
Then there is the Blog and ProBlog... Blog has more reviews but ProBlog seems to look better.
I wish I could try them all them then return the ones I didnt like... coz it's so hard to make decisions via text and video demos alone :(

Hi,
Typically, I do not answer support questions posted in the addon discussion forum that should be in the "support" ticket area for the addon. (I believe that non license holders can only see the discussion area...and not the support area)
Reasons...
1.) I can't keep up with two support areas...and for some reason...the C5 site would not notify me of new posts in the discussion area...even though I repeatedly "followed" it. lol
2.) there is not priority and ticket/issue tracking in the discussion area.
3.) I typically do not respond to tickets or requests that have already been answered 2 or 3 different times that a simple search can quickly discover.
All that to say...if you choose to buy Simple or ProBlog...you will get awesome support and the the answers you need. period. ( the reviews "should" speak for that)
Now, to your original question. ..no neither Simple or ProBlog offer auto tweeting(do to lack of oAuth).
However...both offer Tweetme and AddThis integration.
Best to you,
Chad

Either one should work, that's totally your call. It really boils down to page creation automation and interpretation and displaying of page attributes with some various filters. The built in stuff in concrete5 might even be enough for you. It sounds like the core requirements for you could easily be solved with some page_list blocks.
For what it is worth, Blog(my addon) has had less than 5% of people(actually quite a bit less) that have purchased it actually review it. Most are happy, the unhappy ones are the people that take the time to post a review :)

I've used both Blog and ProBlog on client sites... you'll probably be relatively happy with either if you want a Dashboard-interface blog editor. Both have responsive developers... as you can see :-)
Of course you could create a simple front-end-interface blog using built-in c5 blocks, too.
I highly recommend getting Tony's RSS feed manager in addition to whichever blog package you go with.

EDIT: the feed manager will be helpful for setting up your Feedburner links, because you can make the RSS links be whatever you want.

By the way, there is an add-on called "Tweeter" which is FREE and may do what you want as far as automatically tweeting new posts:

Also, hook into FeedBurner would be good for email subscriptions (I've never done this before so don't know if this is something the blog sets up or my via FeedBurner, so excuse my naivity)
