Asset cache querystring removed from Cocnrete5.6.3?

It seems that Concrete5.6.3.x is no longer appending the ?v=abc123... to asset url's (like view.js, view.css files from blocks). Was this intentionally removed? Is there a config setting to bring it back? Or is my site just messed up somehow?
