Assign set to files in a multiple upload

I'm trying to build up some image galleries for a site but am not able to correctly assign sets at upload. After the uploads complete using the "upload multiple" button in the file manager, a dialog comes up saying they were successfully uploaded which has several tabs where, it appears to me, you can edit the info for the files. One of these tabs is sets, but when I select one and then hit continue the pictures are not placed in the set I specified. Is this a bug or am I not correct in my assumption?
Could you send a screenshot so we could see what you're seeing?
Here is the post-upload screen where I'm trying to add to a set. Despite the check, the uploaded file will not be in that set after clicking continue.
If you scroll down in the dialog, you should see a button at the button of the list to confirm your selection ("Update" in Concrete 5.5.1, perhaps something different but similar in the version you are using).
