attribute check boxes missing

it may have been after updating to the lates c5, but my page attributes under page properties only has one check box then list the other attributes. i noticed in some blocks that when editing all my check boxes are left aligned and it doesnt give each option it's own check box. screenshot is attached.
Have you checked your CSS? It looks like you may have something overriding some of the styling that concrete is using. This use to happen to me when I was using Bootstrap on some of my themes.
is their a way for a non programmer to see what's wrong. did you uninstall an addon to fix it or did you have to go in and adjust the code?
