Authorizing blogs posts

Alright, after patching up the hole in the wall from where i've been banging my head all afternoon...
I want to add a place on my church website where people can add their own short stories, and I want these stories to be approved by a moderator before they go live.
I thought using the built in blog would be the best way, and then I spent six hours trying to figure out how to set the blogs to be approved first. I have scoured the forums, edited code/added code/added files, and all I got was a script error on the top of my website that said the header script could not be handled as it was already provided.

All I want is an easy way to let people add their own short stories, and to have those stories approved my a moderator before going live.
Any ideas?

Have you tried the 'Guestbook/Comments' block/add-on? It comes built in so you dont need to install it. Just select it from the list when you add a block to the page.

Edit page >> add block (to your desired area)>> Guestbook/Comments>> Select "Comments require (moderator) approval">> Done.

It's a great way to allows users to post their own content. Add the block as normal and configure it. Select "Comments require (moderator) approval" and users posts will come through but will only appear publicly after you approve them.

Hope that helps.
