Auto-Nav broken after fresh install?

Hi People
Need some help.. just installed a fresh copy on a new server and host with new SQl version 5.5.1
I did a clean install with no sample content, and picked a theme added it but when I add an Auto-Nav block I cant see any options in the edit section. Just a blank screen!
I have tried in 3 different browsers all broken, all the other blocks seem to display fine with there edit info but not auto-nav?
Any ideas? It loads up a blank white screen when I go edit on the block? I need the nav menu other wise its a bit of a useless 1 page site!

Does the developer console show any script errors?

Checked that, Nope no errors, I have just deleted the whole install and sql and are uploading again from scratch.
Lets try again see if i get the same issue, Think I will install sample content this time

Ok that fixed it
done exactly the same install with same files but clicked sample content and it works fine now!!!
Go figure!
