auto nav shows breadcrumb

can i have my autonav show a breadcrumb, rather than a sitemap level?

Yes, the autonav comes with a breadcrumb template that you can use. If you go into edit mode, then click the autonav block and choose "Custom Template" you will see "Breadcrumb" in the list of options. Hope that helps!
