Autonav Submenu SOS
Permalink
I am a noobie trying to set up what I think is a simple nav menu...
Home/About/Books/Blog/Contact
The problem is this:
There is no actual "Book" page, or rather, I don't want it to show. I want users to click
on "Books" in the nav menu and then choose between 2 submenu items.
I can't figure out how to make this happen!
The main level nav menu looks fine.
Thanks so much...the site ishttp://www.billmosstents.com/test

Thank you so much for your response. I am now trying to get this all to work with Ukao Menu...still not working.
I went through your tutorial and made the placeholder, but panicked when it came to changing the code. Would this still be necessary if working with an add-on. Do you
have any idea?
I can't believe something as standard as a submenu is so confusing--to a noob, that is.

Have a look at the Mega Menu add-on, it does what your looking for out of the box,http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/mega-menu/...
Thank you. I did try that and couldn't get it working, especially custom.css. I'm now
trying Ukao Menu. It seems to me this shouldn't be so hard, but it is!!!! For me, anyway.

Theres no way to do this via built-in functionality, but a little tweaking of code will get you there.
Have a look at this tutorial:http://www.webdesignblog.org.uk/2011/03/concrete5-create-placeholde...
Don't forget to mark this as an answer if it helps.
Thanks.
