Beta 5.4.1 -> Upload Complete
Permalink
(Wasn't sure where to post this.)
I noticed the nice addition of the "Upload Complete" dialog prompting for meta data entry after a file upload - that helps!
Except, it only shows up when you upload through the dashboard, not when you upload through the front end "Add Files" dialog that's used by the Document Library. Is that by choice?
The saving of the meta data from this dialog does complete (as the meta data can be retrieved) but the loader icon never stops and the dialog box never closes. There is no "close" button in the dialog box to force the window close, which requires a reload of the page to stop it.

Fixed in svn now.
Great. I found something else. (Do you want these posts here?) On the frontend, when you hit "add files" in the Document Library Addon - AND - you're logged in as an administrator - THEN - everything is fine. BUT if you are logged in as a NON-ADMINISTRATOR (assigned to group or not) you get a blown out page as though no CSS is linked (screenshot attached). Weird. It's occurring on the files/import.php I do have some manipulation going on, but I think I've proven that it's not affecting the problem.
As far as I can tell, a non-administrator - but registered user - runs into a non-css stylized files/importer.php page from the "Add Files" link within the Document Library (see previous attachment). I don't believe it to be related to the Document Library add-on. Please let me know if your tests show otherwise.
Reloading 5.4.0.5 solved the problem I listed above with no other changes.
EDIT: The latest svn 5.4.1RC solved this problem.

I LOVED the new file upload dialog in 5.4.1. But it seems that now it's gone in 5.4.1.1. Anybody know if there is a way to get back to the 5.4.1 style?
Thanks!
Thanks!
