Big space between blog posts on my homepage

Hi, I have added a blog post the contains 4 separate blogs, after the first post there is a huge space then the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th post appears; does anyone know how to minimize this space. Please help. I am using the column cruiser theme. When I edit the page, the blogs look fine, one on top of the other, but when I publish it, that huge gap appears between the first post and the rest of the posts...
