Blank error popup
Permalink
Hi,
my site has suddenly started to throw empty error popup every time i try to save or alter blocks. As soon as i press Save on content block for example it shows error popup. Content is actually saved but to see changes i need to reload page. It seems that some script is running to error after action is already executed.
Concrete5 own error log doesnt log any errors for this sadly and i have no clue what might be suddenly causing this.. I havent added any new add-ons or updated or done anything with file system...

Its a Chrome Bug. Try a different browser whilst the Chrome devs sort it out.
thanks a lot, works on firefox... Was going crazy about this.
Hi ! ;-) I have the same problem on 2 sites, both are a few years old and this is a new problem with Chrome. Working fine in Safari and Firefox. One site is a 5.7.5.9 and one 5.6.2.1. I get an empty error when saving a block after a create or modify. In 5.6 no error in console. In 5.7 I see this error in console…
[Deprecation] Synchronous XMLHttpRequest on the main thread is deprecated because of its detrimental effects to the end user's experience. For more help, checkhttp://xhr.spec.whatwg.org/.
I read a bit about this and tried each of the following (one at a time) in .htaccess file. Hummm, No luck yet.
Header always append X-Frame-Options SAMEORIGIN
Header set X-Frame-Options SAMEORIGIN
Header always unset X-Frame-Options

Thank you Jessica! We will go with the easy way... Use Firefox until Chrome 84 comes out. Have a nice day ! ;-)
UPDATE... I read Jessica's message again. Sorry I'm mostly French.
Updating Google Chrome from 83.0.4103.61 to version 83.0.4103.97 did the trick !!! ;-)
