HI I am very new to web development. I want to start developing blocks for Concrete5. Which are the tools i need for this?

I have looked at the link, it is well explanatory. But how do i set up my environment? Do i need to install Zend framework or server, PHP and jquery? Or netbeans? or eclipse? What is the majority using for concrete 5?

I use MAMP (My Apache – MySQL – PHP) for local server and Coda2 for building.
