Block in Edit Mode Loses Previously Entered Text

I have a couple blocks I'm developing. It's simply some text fields that are filled out and displayed on the page.

The block adds the text just fine. But, when you go to edit it, nothing is shown in the edit form, leaving me with having to re-enter everything all over again. How do I fix this?

either the data isn't being saved or you aren't printing out the right values in the form.

In this case, it was because I wasn't printing out the right values in the form. Thanks for the pointer!
