Hi there,
First of all: Thanks for the CMS... well done!
but....
i was wondering if there is any feature in the future so that i can inherit a specific block element.
Lets say i want a slideshow on every page. It would be much easier to put a slideshow block on the top page and give it the ability(attribute) to inherit itself. I would use this so many times in my projects.
I started an approach by myself. But i was just wondering if other users would wish the same feature! Or is there another good possibility to do the same? Or is it even planned to do such a thing?

Yes, it's called "Page Defaults". It's kind of hard to find: go to Dashboard -> Pages and Themes, then click the "Page Types" tab at the top (in the grey bar). Every page type in your theme is listed here -- the defaults are on a per-pagetype basis, so you may need to set it in multiple places. Click the "Defaults" button next to the page type you want to set defaults for, add the block there, and now it will appear on every new page of that page type. If you want to add the block to pages that have already been created, click on the block after adding it to the page default and choose "Setup on Child Pages" from the popup menu.
