I think a great update would be to change the way you add blocks to a page.
The problem that I have, is that for some of our clients, we can have a bunch of add-ons, which creates an amazingly long list to scroll through. It would be great to have a tabbed view of blocks that can be organized into different tabs.
Something like General (include all normal used like Content, Html), Media (all media related), etc.
It would just be nice to have it arranged a little better so that you can get to stuff quicker.

Yeah, it would be great to just be able to sort the list (I'm not sure I would want categories and sub-categories, might make it too messy IMHO).
I was just thinking the other day how cool it would be to create a custom list of blocks similar to the way the scapbook works. I would like all blocks in one list but to have the ability to make a custom block list with also the ability to change access controls so client only has access to blocks we want them to have access to. It could be cool... or lame ... depends on how its done.
