Block Permissions don't seem to work for certain blocks.

Hi There,
Having some trouble with block permissions with a website I'm working on.
http://develop5.warrenit.co.uk
Basically, we only want to show Available Properties unless the user has registered with us.
As such, I've set up advanced permissions via dashboard, Added a very useful Login Block plugin, and set the permissions so that you get a message to sign if you you aren't logged in (that works fine), and only see the property result block when you are logged in.
It's the property result block that's not working.
It's fine if you log in as administrator, but not as a registered user.
Has anyone else come across this before?

Currently running version 5.6.1.2 on this site.
if you could provide some screenshots of the block permissions for the block you only want registered users to see I could most likely assist you in correcting this...
Hi there,
Thanks Enlil. See attached.
The block in question is called "Real Estate Search" from the Real Estate plugin.
It's set up only to show results, not dependent on any other block.
You can see that I've included Registered Users, so anyone that signs up/in should see the block. I've also left Administrators in there as well.
I have excluded Guests from viewing the block.
The second screenshot is after I hit the Save button.

If I'm not logged in and hit 'Available Properties' in your menu, I get prompted to log in (= no properties are show, just the log in form).
So I registered an account (c5testuser, which you can delete if you want) and tested the link again. Now I do get properties (based on my interest when signing up), isn't that what you want?

Since you have set up view permissions on the page ('Available Propterties'), then there is no need for permissions on the block, imo.

Hi there,
I changed the permissions on the page in the end because I could not do it on the block.
It's not what the client or I wanted to do, but I had to do something as a workaround to show the client.
It looks like this approach is going to be the best way to avoid having to rely on the block permissions.
Thanks anyway.
