Block that allows adding/deleting items

looking to build a simple gallery, that allows me to add pictures, with some custom data about each one, like Artist, Date of production etc.
And then display them all.
Anyone seen anything like this, or a good starting point?

It is very flexible and easy to use
Otherwise there are lots of premade gallery blocks in the marketplace. Tonys sounds like it will do what you need.
