Blog Title Missing from Composer Form

I set up the C5 blog feature, and after some trial and error, got it working as expected...as the site administrator.

Next step was to set up permissions, etc., to allow the client to add/edit new blog posts. It looked like everything came up roses when I logged in as the blog editor and went into Composer to write some content.

However, the fields for Basic Information for the Blog Entry page were missing. There's no place to add the title of the blog post or give it a short description. Everything else is there, but I can't test it because I can't save the post without a title.

I can't figure out what I've missed. Any ideas? What other information can I provide you that would help troubleshoot this?

Thanks!

Another user here with the same issue, I followed the excellent guide at:-

http://skybluesofa.com/blog/configuring-concrete5-composer-advanced...

...to set the permissions to allow a specified user group to be able to use the composer (done this on an older C5 installation fine), however the 'Basic Information' content will NOT show once inside of the composer 'Write' feature when logged in an a user of the allowed user group, i.e. the same issue as described above.

Any hints? Thank you.

OK found the fix:-

Also add the user group to the permission on Drafts of 'Edit Properties'.

Sorted!

Thanks shufordtechnology...

Finally sorted! Not an overly straight forward procedure, hopefully something the Core Team have addresses / will address for v5.7...

Happy camper once more :-)
