Hi

I'm new to concrete5 and quite like it. Issue I have is that my blog section does not seem to work, i.e. How can someone who is not a member of my site post a blog?

My website is middlesextta.org.uk Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Follow my instructions on this recent thread.

In your case, replace "registered users" with "guests", and the page type you're using will be blog entry. Should do the trick. I'll try to replicate it later and report back again!! This was done using Concrete 5.6.1.2 with advanced permissions turned on...

Silly question... why do you want the general public posting blog entries. IMHO, this will fill up with spam so fast it will make your head spin.

Perhaps "Advanced Comments" would do the trick:

True enough... Didn't even cross my mind. That SHOULD be how to make it work though. These permissions are really something else! :D
