Build a custom theme

Hello everyone,
I would like to create custom themes and I looked at the documentation but I am still a bit disorientated.
Does someone know a good source where they show everything from the begin till the end ?
Or can someone help me by creating a screencast when he/she is making a custom theme and maybe explain along the way ?
