If your only applying the theme to one page while the rest of your pages are in another some compatibility issues could develop such as the themes having differnt areas being used. If you could state which themes you are using and which is being used on what pages (login, profile, right sidebar, etc) than someone can look at the issue your facing a bit better as several things could be happening.
