Built in Blog & Composer Issues

I'm building a new site with the latest release of Conrete5. I would like to use two features of the built in blog, the thumbnail navigation page list, and the blog post "more" section.

In composer I can edit the thumbnail, but I can't seem to be able to add content into the specific areas within a blog post, such as the "more" section that is only displayed in the full blog post. I tried to use the page break button but it caused a php error.

Also, how can one edit a thumbnail after the blog post has been published? I see no place to do that whatsoever.

Thanks.

Once the page is made, and you have entered your top content, the main will be editable at the blog page itself, and there is no editor for the main area in the composer window.

To edit the thumbnail after you should also be able to edit this from the page and not the composer menu.

Thanks. It must have been something I did with my theme I guess as there is no place to edit the thumbnail.

Could a Concrete dev suggest what I might need to add to a template to pull the thumbnail editing capacity into the blog entry page type?
