Buliding dynamic website
Permalink
Hi i'm new to concrete5 and i find it awesome, i have a knowledge in html,css,php.. now i'm trying to build a website using concrete5 that is dynamic webpage content, example i have a menu "HOME","PROFILE","ABOUT"
My client want to change the content the home pages on the fly without doing coding, he/she just login to the client page then change it there..
is it possible??? how?? do i need to edit the theme that i will use? and add new code on it?? thank you so much..
By the way i'm just starting studying concrete and i have no exact themes to use, just wondering if i can build that idea using conrete5 thank you so much :D

apologies if I've misunderstood your question - but if I were you I'd have a look through.

All of the in-built themes or ones from the marketplace have pages where the content regions are editable so I'd start off with one of those. Log in as admin, go to the page and start editing (get some practice to see what it can do) - it really is as easy as that...
Building your own themes is a little more complex but you don't have to be a programmer/developer to do it. There are guides on this as well.
I'd start by using a pre-built theme first to get use to how the whole thing hangs together...
