Buy addon for demo site then transfer to live site?
Hi all
My client is interested in getting a blog for her site. She hasn't paid me for the addon yet but I am trying to explain what is included and not included which I am finding difficult without a working demo (never used a blog addon before).
So I want to install the blog addon on a temporary demo site so she can preview it. Then she can decide if she wants me to customise the appearance, change anything, etc. and I can quote as necessary.
SO - can I buy the addon to install on this demo site and then transfer it to her real site once payment is settled?
I think my question is similar to this one:http://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/customizing_c5/buying-add...
Except I didn't really want to post the sites publically at this time. Do I need to have an active project to purchase an addons for it?
Thanks

you should have a project, they arn't public at all
Oh - I thought projects were listed like "sites" under your profile but I just noticed they're not the same.
Thanks for pointing that out!
Thanks for pointing that out!
Thanks - I'll try that!
As far as I know, people got in contact with the actual add-on author if they wanted something like this. I'd try to contact the author you can find on the add-on page in the marketplace.
