C5 v5.6.2.1: If I set "Requires Shipping" to No, it breaks eCommerce

Hi,
I've got a customer with ecommerce who sells non-tangible products so I don't want his users to have to complete shipping info.
In the product screen, if I change "requires shipping" to "no" I then can't view the check out page, I get the following error:
"Fatal error: Call to a member function getPath() on a non-object in /home/[sitename]/public_html/packages/core_commerce/helpers/checkout/step.php on line 126 "
If I change it back to "yes" it's ok and I can view the check out page.
Anyone seen this before of know a fix?
