C5.6.3.3 Bootstrap collapsed menu not working

I have developed a site in C5.6.3.3 and Bootstrap 3.
Everything works except when I test in responsive down to phone size the button won't trigger the menus to open.
I am sure this is an easy fix but I can't resolve it. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.
