Calendar: Event date not displaying Correctly on event page

A client of mine purchaser the Calendar add-onhttp://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/calendar/...

I installed in on the site and placed the calendar within a page.

I select the event page from within calendar and I get to a new page. I get and <h1>Event Title>

<p><span class="event-description"></span></p>


but I get no event date within the page

running
concrete - 5.4.5
Calendar - 1.3.4

Any thoughts

Best place to ask about this is in the support section for the addon. All addon creators have to give support for their addon - makes sense as they know their code better than anyone :)

got it to display a date. since i was running a theme, i needed to have a celendar_event.php in my theme to match the page_type/calendar_event.php installed in the calendar package

but now the issue is that the event date is December 31, 1969, 4:00 pm for all events. Not sure what i need to update now to my theme, calendar files or settings.
