Calendar Events in Concrete 5. Navigate Year and Display Events
Permalink
Hello all,
I am a newbie user of c5 and this is my first post in forum I guess. The issue I would like to share is that I am building a website using c5. In that site, they need a feature that can list events in each month of a year.
I just made a design as in attached file. Now I need the year navigation. Previous year and next year. for each year, it should load corresponding events in that year. Well how I can do this? I dont think it would be nice to create new pages for each year, is it ok? But other than that how can I load events/page contents dynamically ? Is there any way I can save these events to database and display them as per the year that user choose?.
I just went across Single page and Custom Block information in c5. I dont fully understand what single page uses for but is it useful in this scenario?
I hope I dont confused you all, just give me some ideas.
thanx a lot

You could check out the market place and search for 'events' in add-ons
http://www.concrete5.org/marketplace/addons/-/view/?submit_search=1...
Not sure it will give you exactly what you want though...
You can post this in the forums under "jobs" and a developer could build it for you (at a price) if you really need it to be that way.
Single pages are usually for one off pages - such as login pages, error pages etc etc.
It takes a while to get your head around it, but keep at it, I just finished my first C5 site yesterday.
Good Luck
