Calendar Integration
Permalink
Hi all just wondered if anyone had had any issues with integrating the calendar package from a presentation point of view?
I have installed hte package and have been able to utilise the list vie2w and the next five weeks view however when I try to include the full calendar view it completely messes with my page layout.
I had a look at my view.php file and attempted a couple of alterations on the CSS file that came with the package but none seemed to alter the page from being displayed wrong.
Is there a screencast or some knowledge on how to alter the presentation of the calendar elements and also how to fully utilise all of it's features for my client?
sorry that was a long winded way of asking a simple question
thanks in advance

I knew that 'messing around' would be a bit vaque... yes it wraps differently almost as though the main content area it takes up becomes [position:absolute] or something when I create the calendar page... which causes my side panel to completely jump off the page.
I checked the css file and couldn't find the reason it was doing so in there.
It is a purely layout issue not a colour or way it looks.
cheers

i bet you're adding it into a two column page type. try this:
http://www.concrete5.org/index.php?cID=13244...
http://www.concrete5.org/index.php?cID=13244...
The full calendar will require a rather large footprint on the page.
Regarding further customization - all of the style attributes for the calendar should be contained within packages/calendar/css/calendar.css, and should hopefully be reasonably well commented.
